Terms of Service

Welcome to Glowread! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Glowread mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Routinity ("we", "our", or "us"). By using Glowread, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Glowread, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account using your email, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, for all activities that occur under it, and for notifying us of any unauthorized access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Glowread Premium Subscription

4.1 Subscription Plans

Glowread offers auto-renewing premium subscription plans with additional features. Subscription details, pricing, and features are displayed in the app before purchase.

4.2 Billing

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your device. Payment will be charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.

4.3 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

4.4 Cancellation

You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods, except where required by law.

4.5 Free Trial

Subscriptions may include a free trial period (for example, 3 days), as shown in the app at the start of the trial. The payment method on your App Store or Google Play account is charged automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial through your App Store or Google Play account settings. During a free trial, some features may be limited: the trial includes the document-to-audio feature subject to a word allowance shown in the app, and full catalog access unlocks after your first payment. Unused trial periods are forfeited upon subscription purchase.

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of documents and content you upload to Glowread. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely to provide the Service. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights to the content you upload and to have it processed as described.

5.2 Content Restrictions

You agree not to upload content that infringes intellectual property rights, contains malware or harmful code, violates any applicable laws, or is obscene, defamatory, or harassing.

5.3 Content Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you upload. We do not monitor or control user content, but we may remove content that violates these Terms, including content we reasonably believe to be infringing.

5.4 Text-to-Speech Output

Audio generated from your uploaded content is provided for your personal, non-commercial use within the Service. You may not redistribute, sell, or publicly perform generated audio of third-party copyrighted works unless you hold the necessary rights to do so.

5.5 Copyright Complaints (Notice and Takedown)

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content processed through the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice with (a) identification of the copyrighted work, (b) identification of the allegedly infringing material, (c) your contact information, (d) a good-faith statement that the use is not authorized, and (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act for the rights holder, to dmca@glowread.app. We will review notices and remove or disable access to infringing material where appropriate, and may terminate repeat infringers' accounts.

6. Intellectual Property

The Glowread app, including its design, features, code, and content (excluding user content), is owned by Routinity and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service for any illegal purpose, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, interfere with or disrupt the Service, use automated systems to access the Service without permission, share your account credentials, or circumvent usage limits or restrictions.

7.1 Fair Use, Queueing, and Service Protection

To keep Glowread reliable and protect the Service from abuse, we may apply reasonable technical limits to uploads, text-to-speech generation, concurrency, queueing, retries, cancellation handling, and other high-cost operations. This may include delaying, rate-limiting, rejecting, or cancelling jobs, or requiring an authenticated account or active subscription for certain processing features. You may not attempt to bypass or interfere with these controls, including by creating repeated unfinished jobs, using automation to exhaust processing capacity, or otherwise shifting unreasonable costs onto the Service. We may investigate suspected abuse, suspend or limit access, adjust usage accounting, and take other protective action as permitted by law and these Terms.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE. We are not responsible for the accuracy of text-to-speech conversions, reading speed calculations, or any decisions you make based on the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROUTINITY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY. Our total liability for any claims under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months prior to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Routinity and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Third-Party Services

Glowread may integrate with third-party services (e.g., Google, Apple, Firebase). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services.

12. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the app and at this URL. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Routinity operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

16. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration rules.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

18. Website Waitlist

If you use the waitlist form at glowread.app: you agree to submit accurate information and not use automated, deceptive, or abusive methods to access the waitlist. By opting in, you consent to receive waitlist and product-related emails from Glowread; you can unsubscribe anytime from email links. Waitlist access does not guarantee product availability, timing, features, or pricing. You must not attempt to disrupt, probe, or abuse Glowread systems, including bypassing anti-bot or rate-limit protections.
